The project will help to secure future water supply for Tauranga and the wider Western Bay of Plenty and has been divided into three parts:

• An intake facility at Waiāri Steam
• Water Treatment Plant on No 1 Rd in Te Puke
• 22km of high pressure bulk transmission pipeline.

Tauranga City Council engaged us to provide constructability and cost input at each design stage and in procurement and construction management during delivery.

This has involved assessing the impact of pipeline installation, contract documents and procurement opportunities, specifications for constructability opportunities and options for pipeline installation methods.

We also provided construction management services for the Water Treatment Plant
