Gills Road Link creates a new section of road including a bridge through an ecologically sensitive reserve area. The connection with the existing Gills Road and highly trafficked Oteha Valley Road requires multiple phases and complex traffic management. Medallion Drive Link involves constructing a new two-lane road, including a new 200m long bridge with footpaths and cycle facilities and significant intersection works at Fairview Avenue and on the highly trafficked Oteha Valley Road.

This included procurement of design consultants, optioneering, business case inputs, constructability reviews, cost estimation and risk, consent application specialist input, staging and programming and temporary land requirements.
