Kevin Manalo

During his more than twenty years as a civil and mechanical engineer, Kevin has estimated some of the most exciting and challenging civil, water, and wastewater infrastructure projects in New Zealand, Australia and the Pacific.
                                                 
Kevin is a Chartered Professional Engineer, a Chartered Member of Engineering New Zealand and an Affiliate of the New Zealand Institute of Quantity Surveyors (NZIQS). He recently completed his master’s in quantity surveying on Carbon Accounting. 

“I enjoy learning, applying and adopting innovative technologies, and I’m keen in advancing the construction industry and meeting future challenges.”

Kevin believes that engineering can change the world for the better and adheres to the Māori world view on water.

Career highlights include:

• Breaking into new markets in the Pacific
• Being part of the team in pricing ACHW/WSL stormwater separation upgrades
• Lead Estimator for Watercare’s largest dam upgrade in approximately 20 years
• Presenting master’s Thesis and Poster at Water New Zealand’s Stormwater Conference
• Presenting Research Poster at Carbon and Energy Professionals to CEP Conference.
